Periyakadai residents stage protest against liquor bar-Photo

Residents of Periyakadai area in Mannar stage protest over opening private liquor bar at house in the village. Members of the Periyakadai women association and villagers stage protest at 10.00 am this morning.

 Protesters walked up to the Mannar Municipal council and handed over petition towards Mayor S.Ganapragasam and Deputy Mayor James Jesudhas. 

 Bishop of the Mannar Irayappu Joseph, president of the Mannar people’s association Rev.Fr.Immanuel Sebamalai and hundreds of villagers present at this protest.
