A student with the Jaffna University was killed on the spot after the motorcycle he was riding rammed head-on to an oncoming lorry at Achchuveli earlier yesterday.
Police identified the victim as Seetiswaram Kajanthan a final year student in the Arts Faculty at the Jaffna University.
The victim was a student of Chavakacheri, police said.
