The Ministry of Education says that proper procedures will be put in place for the transfers of teachers and principals; a senior officer of the ministry said that the transfers and salary increments of teachers are not being given at the right time.
He further said that a streamlined transfer procedure will be put in place within the next six months .
He added that a calendar with confirmed examination dates for teachers and principals will also be prepared .
The officer further stated that discussions are being held with trade unions regarding several issues faced in the education sector.
