Students who will be sitting for the upcoming G.C.E Advanced Level examinations who are yet to received their NICs, have been given the opportunity to obtain it Saturday.
Commissioner General of Persons Registrations Sarath Kumara said that the applicants need not be present to collect the National Identity Card.
He added that the mother, father or the guardian of the applicant can be present with a letter confirming their identity, in order to collect the NIC on behalf of the applicant.
