The North Western and Central Provincial Councils will be dissolved Friday.
This move was confirmed to Newsfirst by the governors of the two provinces.
Thereby, the gazette notification in this regard will be issued today.
Earlier Friday, President Rajapaksa issued a proclamation to the Elections Commissioner to direct him to make preparations for the Northern Provincial Council Election.
