The High Commissioner for the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Colombo His Excellency Mohammad Sufiur Rahman visited Kilinochchi and held talks with the Security Forces Commander-Kilinochchi Maj.Gen. Udaya Perera, recently (26th July).
"The High Commissioner was briefed on the present situation in Kilinochchi in terms of infrastructure and economic development and welfare measures provided to the resettled communities during the meeting,"
High Commissioner was pleased about the measures taken by the SF-Kilinochchi to enhance the living standard of resettled communities and assistance extended by the Sri Lanka Armed forces for peace building.
Mementoes were also exchanged to mark the visit.
