TNA representatives hold discussions with the President

A meeting was held between President Mahinda Rajapaksa and representatives of the TNA on Friday.

 Presidential Spokesperson, Mohan Samaranayaka told www.newsfirst.lk website, that as a representative to the TNA, Party Leader R. Sampanthan met with the President this morning at the President's House to hold discussions. 

 In the recently concluded Provincial Council Elections, the Illangai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) which was a party that contested under the TNA, obtained power in the Northern Province.
