The price of a 400 gram packet of Highland milk powder has been increased by Rs. 15, the Milco Company said. Accordingly the new price of a 400 gram packet will be Rs. 325.
The company said that the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) had given it permission to increase the controlled price to Rs 325 in July, last year but it hadn’t done so until now.
However, due to increased production expenses the company has now had to increase the price.
A few weeks ago, the price of a 400 gram packet of Maliban milk powder was increased by Rs. 70 and the price of a 1 kg. packet by Rs. 185
