The Commissioner General of Examinations W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara says the results of the Grade Five Scholarship Examination are scheduled to be released by the first week of October.
He said that the marking of answers will be carried out by 4200 teachers at 30 centres from the third to the ninth of next month.
He said that 329,725 students sat for the exam at 2836 centres across the country.
