Sri Lanka Navy has arrested a group of six persons who had illegally entered the country from India in a sailing vessel off the coast of Talaimannar.
The group, consisting two Indian nationals, a Sinhalese man and 3 women, were arrested by personnel at the Mannar Navy Camp, acting on information received.
They are scheduled to be produced in court while Talaimannar Police is handling further investigations.
